Ferdie Ahmed is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of EverGrowth Group, which partners with and grows UK B2B essential services businesses. After a decade in enterprise data and technology, he founded Barrio, the London cocktail bar group, in 2007; it was sold to Nightcap plc in 2021.

He co-founded EverGrowth with Chris West in 2025. The group’s first business, Excell Cleaning Services, joined in March 2026, funded by the co-founders’ own capital and a Growth Guarantee Scheme loan from Allica Bank. Ferdie and Chris then secured equity from FourLeaf Capital and senior debt from OakNorth Bank, and Medway Heating joined in October 2026. Ferdie leads operations, integration and value creation, and invests alongside FourLeaf through Clamshell Capital, his personal investment company.
He started in enterprise data, spending a decade as a data warehousing and business intelligence consultant for banks, insurers and global brands, and was based in Zurich from 2001 to 2006. In 2007 he founded Barrio, a Latin cocktail bar in Angel, and built it into a group of five London venues, including the Soho members’ bar Disrepute. Annual sales reached about £7m before the pandemic. The group was sold to Nightcap plc in November 2021.
